By accepting this Privacy Policy or continuing to access and use our Websites and/or Apps, you are considered to have consented to ConnectDr, along with its subsidiaries or affiliates, to:

(a) collect, use, disclose, and/or process the information you have provided or may provide in the future to ConnectDr, its subsidiaries, or affiliates for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy; and

(b) disclose your information in accordance with the guidelines specified in this Privacy Policy.

ConnectDr strives to minimize the collection of personal data from you. We only request the information necessary to manage your account and provide the services.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal data shall have meaning ascribed to it under Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

  • Personal Information: Name, age, date of birth, occupation, gender, mailing address, email address, identification document details and phone number. 
  • Health Information: Medical and health information provided by you, encompassing your medical history, health status, laboratory test results, diagnostic image and other health related data when using the App to consult with a healthcare provider. 
  • Billing information: Credit card or online payment system details. This information is utilised to create your account and enable you to purchase products or services through our Websites and/or Apps. 
  • Technical data: This information is collected to monitor user interactions with the Websites or Apps. Technologies like “cookies”, web beacons, and others are employed to gather data such as your server connection, browser type (e.g. Safari, Chrome), IP address, and your choices within the Websites or Apps. We use this data to assess usage rates of the Websites or Apps function and services. It’s important to note that you have the option to adjust your browser settings to block cookies. However, disabling cookies may impact the proper functioning of the features and services on the Websites.
  • Location Information: We may collect location information from your device when you use the App to provide location-based services.
  • Camera and Microphone Information: We may collect camera and microphone information when you use the App for telemedicine consultations.

Use of Information

  • Account management: Register and maintain your account on our Websites and/or Apps. 
  • Facilitating Consultation: Introducing you to medical practitioners and wellness experts (collectively, “Practitioners”) and enabling consultation via our Websites or Apps. We only share your information with the chosen Practitioners solely for conducting the Consultation. 
  • Providing Services: Delivering Information, products or services you have requested. 
  • Financial Transactions: Fees for completed consultations or any other transactions related to products or services used or purchased by you. 
  • Communication and Notification: Updates of changes to our products or services. Responding to your queries and requests. Sending marketing and promotional materials about our products and services. 
  • Operational and Security Measures: Administering the Websites and Apps, including internal operations like troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, and research. Ensuring the safety and security of our Websites and Apps. Enforcing our terms, conditions, and policies. Completing customer screening, identity verification, and fraud detection processes, including checks related to anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism.
  • Data Analysis: Aggregating data into anonymized statistical information for analysis, helping us improve our service offerings.
  • Other Purposes: Performing any other functions that we may inform you of from time to time.

Please note that if incorrect contact details are provided (such as an incorrect address or phone number), we cannot be held responsible for privacy breaches due to communication sent to the wrong contact address.

We retain the authority to disclose your personal data when it is crucial to prevent harm to the life, health, or security of an individual or a corporate entity. Moreover, we hold the right to divulge personal data to law enforcement, governmental agencies, or authorized third parties in response to a verified request linked to a criminal investigation, alleged illegal activity, or any other activity that might subject us to legal liability.

Upon successful deletion of your account

  • Your account will become inaccessible and will be permanently deleted.
  • All family profiles and credit card information associated with the account will be erased.
  • Any ongoing consultations that have not been completed will be canceled.
  • Please note that you will no longer have access to any existing healthcare data stored in ConnectDr.
  • Certain transactional data will be retained for financial audit purposes.
  • Information related to medical consultations will be preserved for the natural lifespan of the patient, as mandated by the Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations.
  • Additionally, in the event that you create a new account using the same email address, please be aware that you will not be able to view the history of your previous account.

Security of Information

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your information. However, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

Data Security Measures 

We are dedicated to protecting your personal data under our control.
